The key to providing these services is more than having skilled hands in the field to service our clients. It is the ability to manage the process from dispatch, to site support with vendors, communication providers, or clients’ IT departments. That process is the key to resolution of service calls, completion of new installations and ensures proper documentation, including key site pictures and customer sign off procedures based on the statement of work. These processes are managed through a proprietary web based software solution called the Galaxy Installer Portal.
Galaxy’s extensive online portal allows complete project management from start to finish. New orders can be uploaded to the portal with all the required pertinent details of the job, including: location, contacts, equipment, configuration files, and more.
Customer accountability and Sign-off-Once a technician has completed a job they are required to upload pictures and notes and customer sign off to the Galaxy online portal. This allows Galaxy to have a transparent view of the job being performed and ensure the necessary work is being completed properly.
Galaxy’s network of technicians have mandatory standard safety certifications required and additional certifications as well based on customer requirements. Some of these safety requirements include ladder safety, working at heights, and POST for working on oil and gas sites. All technicians have their Certificate of Insurance for liability and also provincial Work and Safety board clearances.
Based on contractual requirements and agreement, technicians service and respond within SLA time associated for each customer based on geographical location of the site. There are some enterprise customers which require a 4-6-hour turnaround for a tech to be on site from the time the call was dispatched.
In Canada, Galaxy has warehousing facility at two locations to ship cross country: Mississauga, ON and Edmonton, AB. Galaxy stores and distributes equipment to all technicians from these two warehouse locations. We can assist in the logistics and deployment from single site to even the largest projects.
