As part of improving your internet experience, Galaxy Broadband is now offering a new Download Manager (Beta Version). This new utility tool is user friendly and will easily enable your computer to automatically schedule downloads (if you so choose) to take place during specific times and take advantage of the Hughes Download Zone (2 AM to 7 AM EST) without impacting your service plan Fair Access Policy limits.

The Download Manager can be accessed by clicking here and then clicking on the FREE Download button.

Galaxy has extended our FAP free period for all of our SkySurf and SkyWay customers! The standard FAP (Fair Access Policy) that controls the daily download capacity of your particular service plan has been removed for a five hour period every night from 2 a.m to 7 a.m. EST. This great feature is just one more way Galaxy brings you more value for your surfing dollar. Watch for new software available through our website soon to help you schedule and manage those large downloads! (Speeds are still subject to your particular service plan)

What differentiates Galaxy Broadband's Premium Service from other satellite internet services?

Galaxy operates our Premium services at a lower "shared ratio" than other services, resulting in much smoother and consistent performance. Our Premium Services require a larger antenna (98 cm minimum) and operate on a Ku frequency.
