Galaxy and its employees and partners are trying to make a difference and show we care.

Environment

Galaxy is concerned about what impact our business is having on the world. From an equipment perspective Galaxy continuously upgrades network and field equipment to increase performance and reduce energy consumption.

  • All of our modems are built in compliance with the RoHS directive.

    • Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive or RoHS) was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. [1] The RoHS directive took effect on 1 July 2006, and is required to be enforced and become law in each member state. This directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment.

  • We are also in compliance and label our products with the WEEE logo supporting proper disposal of the electronics.

  • Our factory recycles electronics being discarded and works with our distributors to find “green” methods to dispose of old electronics in the field.

All shipping materials are reused or recycled. Recycling is also a priority for Galaxy and our employees around the office. Recycling bins are located throughout our offices, from the boardroom to the lunchroom.

All Galaxy offices provide the staff, drinking water refilling stations and stainless steel drinking bottles. We believe that every little bit of difference we make will impact the entire world.

Galaxy is an e-bill focused company.
